I'm so glad this week is almost over. I'm still just worn out from it all & I've got a little touch of the ConCrud.....not as serious as most....but it's still there.....I feel it in my lungs. BLAH!
So....I went through the measly amount of pictures I took & posted the ones I thought were most fit for human consumption......they were all pretty bad.......bad lighting.....a drunken hand.....WHATEVER. You can find them HERE..........
TOday is a struggle. No amount of coffee in all the entire world can save me. NONE! I am WORN OUT from this weekend. I still dont have the pictures posted, but I can give a quick recap....
I made sure I took thursday & friday off......I've never been to the Con on those days so I wanted to do it. Creepi had to work on thursday, but I drove over to her house & Cro & I loaded up my little pez of doom & we drove tot he Marriott. I was flung out on the curb with the baggage & the bell hop & then Cro took my car back to the house. THey were supposed to load the jeep up & come when Creepi got off. I had to stay because I was to have dinner with AoME & Peter S. Beagle.
I got up to the room & the stuff was unloaded. Spoke with Hill & then I prepared for dinner. I met up with the AoME crew at the Hyatt bar & we walked to the place that we were to have dinner. I enjoyed dinner....Peter S. Beagle didn't show up....but dinner was still good......lots of laughs.....and Brad Pitt too! ;op
After dinner, Hill went with me to get my badge & we roamed around a bit. I got to see some of the others that stayed in the suite with us & ran into lots of people I haven't seen in ages. Didn't do anything but roam around. I was in bed by midnight......everyone else in the suite stayed up & I think some people came into our room to say hello, but I was knocked out. SORRY!
I was up pretty early the next day. Creepi had to work again & Cro went back to the house, so I helped out at the West of the Moon table. I sat there just in case someone wanted to buy a shirt. I got to meet Larry from The One Ring.net......funny guy. I think I sat at the table for a little over an hour. I was waiting on Julie to get there....and SURPRISE.....she flaked at the last minute....I went back to the room & went shopping with my suite mates. Did that for a while & then went back to the room to change. I got dressed as an elf a little too early, so I hung out with the suite mates & drank a bit....then I enjoyed the Evening in Bree....I entered the costume contest with Elfstone & the group won best group....that was nice.
Left Bree & went & got into more comfortable clothes. Roamed some more....I came back to the room later & it was full of friends. We drank ourselves stupid (and there are pictures)...finally, I went to bed at 7am....I was supposed to be in the parade that morning, but I woke up at 9am & realized I couldn't get my ears on.....missed the parade but made it to the pizza party.
I had to get a little nap in & then I was on repeat. Dress up, drink, do it again.
You know, this whole weekend was a little fucked up. I didn't get to do what I wanted to. I missed the famous people I wanted to see & I didn't do any panels....so I'm a little mad about that....I am glad I did get to see who I saw & meet who I met & stuff....had dinner with some friends at the sports bar.....carrots & celery & spinach dip...and mojitos. YUM!
Steph & STV came up to our room & we drank some more & got silly.....we had enough alcohol to drown in this year.....went to a pirate party...and I didn't even dress as a pirate....WTF? I didn't wear half the costumes I brought....for some reason...I just wasn't in the mood. The Pirates were too loud so we got chased off the 10th floor....saw the Cruxshadows....roamed & drank more.....got a tattoo on my ass (because that's where it belonged)......didn't get shit for pictures....so I'm mad about that too....had a friend tell me that I wasn't showing as much tit & ass as usual....didn't have an explanation for that one......then my friends had to save me....and how I love them so! (either by pulling me off to a nearly abandoned stairwell or surrounding me for a group hug) Went & changed into something comfortable & finally decided to go to bed at 5am....on the way to the room I ran into a friend, so I hung out with them in their room until 9am....time just got away from me....you know what they say...No rest for the wicked ;op
I got a few hours of sleep in...and I did manage to eat something (my diet consisted of alchohol, water, cheese, pudding, beef jerky & pork skins....) Creepi & I went shopping. I got some anime....then I wanted to watch it...so while it was on I was falling asleep sitting up (very bad)......so it was time to have a drink.....we hung out with our suite mates a bit......my "not date" was supposed to be coming & I was waiting on him to call...but the phone never rang & it was after 10pm......but I decided to take my phone out into the hall & the problem was, I wasn't getting a signal......I had 4 messages from 4 different people & my "not date" had been there an hour & a half....ooops....he had some friends there already so I'm glad he wasn't waiting by himself.....so anyway........we went down to meet him.....we had a good night......lots of talking, roaming, the last dance, drum circle, belly dancing, joking.....yeah.....finally got into bed around 6am......
On Monday I was WORTHLESS. We got up & packed up everything & had to have 2 racks to take our stuff down.....Cro took one load home & then we put the second load in & parked it & roamed around...shopped...we were like zombies....and I was a little sad. Found out the Crockodile Man (Steve Erwin) had been killed by a stingray.....I met up with the AoME group at the One Ring.net table & I helped out there too.....sometimes the people running the tables need a break. We hung around a while & I made plans to get my car & come back & have dinner, but I was so tired.....so tired....I just went home.
I had a wonderful time seeing people I see all the time, seeing people I don't get to see that often, my friends form out of state, meeting people I know from the internet/message boards, but not in person (until now), meeting strangers who aren't strangers anymore....I had made many plans & none of them happened....I'm a little upset about that, but I can always try again for next year....I have my ticket....I'm ready....this weekend was really too short....that sucks. I'm pretty sure I've left a lot out...but you know what they say about Vegas? Well, it's the same for the Con.....so, until next time...pictures to follow.....

Hee hee....it's not Molly. I came home today & my dad told me to go look at the red dog on the porch....he teases me alot & I thought he was talking about Molly. I opened the door & I saw double....NOT TWO MOLLY'S!!! This little girl is a bit taller than Molly & her nose is slightly shorter...I'll say she's a Chaweenie....she's so CUTE! My mom said I can keep her if we can't find her owner....and she seems to like me better than Molly anyway (she's on my bed sleeping now)....so if she stays it will work out....Molly has shown her that she's alpha...but they play really well (they were tearing the living room up earlier & Mikie didn't know what to think...poor old boy)....ok...now back to packing my bags....lots to do tomorrow...

I really would like to thank everyone for the birthday wishes (in person, on the phone, texts, e-mails, message boards & IM's). I appriciated it....more than you know.
I started my weekend off by going to Creepi & Cro's. They took me to Frontera & the manager gave us a free shot of tequila. YUM! Then we ordered the biggest margarits on the menu...
I can say I didn't eat very much.....then the whole wait staff brought me this ridiculous hat & dessert....& sang happy birthday to me....I had a wonderful time at Frontera....went to the Highlander after that....I was feeling mighty good...played some air hockey & I think I got my ass stomped...Then someone was sweet enough to give me a shot....(and it was EXTRA BIG) I dont remember much after that...I know I drank some more...did a lemondrop shot....took pictures with random people....who I didn't even know....I don't remember walking to the car or getting the happy meal....lost my lipliner (and I'm really fucking pissed about that) & then I had to puke....woke up with my hair in a ball on the top of my head & a bandage on my left knee & uncovered this.....
Don't know how I got those....and they aren't the only ones....but girl felt no pain...Creepi was tending to me while I was semi-consious & she was pretty drunk herself & she saw my knee & asked me about it & I didn't know I was hurt & she thought I scraped it so she put neosporin on it & that's how the bandage came to be on my knee....and my hair was done by Cro....)
And I woke up feeling ok...then the nausea & headache hit me...lay around worthless until 2pm & went to Stone Mountain for the company function I helped arrange....I wanted to do a little more than I did & maybe stay for the laser show...but no one wanted to do that & I wasn't about to sit out there by myself...so I just came home....tired anyway...need sleep.....feel like I've been hit by a truck...NIGHT!
I have had QUIET a busy weekend......I went to Creepi & Cro's on friday. We went to Frontera for dinner & we had the mega margarita! YUM! We didn't have a super active evening because we were supposed to get up early the next morning...so we watched War of the worlds & then it was bedtime.
Creepi & I awoke super early & got ready & we went to see dead people.....Bodies, The Exhibition.......OMG! It was AMAZING! i really enjoyed getting to see things up close & live like that. I think my favorite parts were the circulatory system & the reproductive part.....some people get disturbed by looking at fetuses.....I wasn't all that bothered by it. Really....it's a great learning experiance....it will be gone by the end of this month...
We spent a good two hours in the exhibit & then met Lilith at Agnes & Muriel's for a GREAT lunch....then all three of us went shopping afterwards.....wasn't supposed to be spending any money.....and I didn't spend that much, but I HAD to go by the MAC counter....we shopped around for a good while...then we dropped Lilith back with her husband & we hit a few fabric stores...got a few more needed things to finish up my soctumes & then we went home.....lazy evening......we watched Constantine & then Elizabeth. Both of those movies were pretty good....but it was late & we all went to bed.
We got up around 10am today & went to Waffle house for breakfast....YUM! Then I had to come home because I have LOTS to do. I didn't want ot come home....I really enjoy hanging out with those two.
I FINALLY got rid of AO-Snail.....I am now with Bellsouth & it's great.....YAY! My parents finally saw the light......
I got something in the mail over the weekend to go with my Padme costume....it's AWESOME!
Then....a few weekends ago, while at Creepi's place, I threw this together for my new elvish gown....
It's just plastic leaves on a gold chain...but I thought it would go nice with the dress...and anyone who knows me KNOWS I LOVE leaves. :o) I can't wait to wear it.....
That is all for now...I have to get some things done here....I'm off all next week.....HOORAY!
I have several friends who make jewelry.....all of them so VERY talented. Well, yesterday I received something in the mail coming from one of those friends.......
I ordered the necklace, but she sent me earrings to go along with it as a birthday gift......I'm wearing it today at work & it seems to be turning heads....I'll be wearing it as DragonCon too....can't wait!
